Flaunting a mid-century European design with a jazzy touch, their booths and wooden flooring resemble that of Polar Express!

Sarastro is sky-high in the heart of Bukit Bintang, offering sweeping views of the city’s nearby landmarks such as The Exchange TRX. Parking is available in Tribeca Serviced Hotel at RM5 for the first hour. However, if you are a hotel guest, you get a flat rate of RM4 per day.

While Sarastro KL is open for lunch, the night vibes are immaculate! They have live performances by local jazz bands and pop performers serenading you through the night. Their live music will get you on your feet and moving along to the beat so don’t bother trying to fight it!

Bridging cultures through food? Awesome!

Favouring culinary innovation, their menu showcases an interesting selection of fusion food inspired from both the East and the West. Their appetisers and main courses have been crafted with meticulous attention to detail and creativity.

Starting off with their small plates menu, you can choose to get 3 small plates for the price of RM98 or 5 small plates for RM158.

Right off the bat, they spoil you with options; presenting 10 different small plates to choose from! We loved that! From juicy chicken karaage to crispy prawn toast to seafood croquettes and more, how do they expect us to narrow it down?! This is a great way to get the meal rolling if you are going in a bigger group.

Moreover, you can opt to order from their appetiser section in which they have 8 different options. They have tender lamb skewers and sauteed garlic prawns, as well as portobello fries and an okra thai salad, for those who are vegetarian.

Their mains feature a premium Miyazaki Wagyu Tenderloin A5 (RM256) for steak lovers, as well as lamb, fish and chicken dishes. Try their Chicken Piemontese (RM56) or their Seared Medium Rare Marinated Tuna (RM138).

Ending things on a sweet note, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by their dessert menu which has unique treats! Their strawberry crispies brownie and churros with white chocolate dip are both priced at RM36.

Who doesn’t love a banging set lunch?

If you’re going in the daytime, you may be interested in their set lunch menu at RM32 per set, available on weekdays from 12pm-3pm. This lunch menu offers Asian inspired dishes such as their Barramundi Kimchi Quesadilla and Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah paired with a drink of your choice.

Throughout your visit at Sarastro, you will be spoilt for choice in terms of drink options. In addition to experimenting with their food, they experiment with their drinks as well! Whipping up jazzy cocktails and boozy drinks. If you think you have a sophisticated drinking palate then this place is definitely for you.

Their take on cocktails is interesting with a very strong base and fruity flavour profiles to top it off. For example, their Millennium Spritz. This drink starts off with rum and maraschino, followed by sparkling wine, violet, and finally, a dash of lychee.

Time to dine in the sky!
