When did you last visit the zoo? If you haven’t been there in ages, grab your camera and head out to Zoo Negara. In the spirit of the Ramadan season, the National Zoo will distribute free tickets to the first 100 adults and senior citizens visiting the zoo every day of this month!
Ramadan 2025 promotion
On 2nd March, the zoo uploaded a poster announcing this good news on its Facebook and Instagram pages. According to the poster, these free tickets are part of Zoo Negara’s Ramadan 2025 promotion. For every ticket purchased by a senior or adult visitor to the zoo during this month, they will be gifted a free ticket which can be used anytime in the next six months. Tickets will be given out to eligible visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bear in mind the terms and conditions of this Ramadan offer before you get excited. The free tickets will only be available to visitors who purchase their tickets at the zoo’s walk-in counters. Additionally, for the purpose of recordkeeping, visitors gifted these free tickets must first present their Malaysian identification card or passport, if they are from overseas. Lastly, the tickets are non-transferable, so you and only you will be able to use yours.

This is not the first time that Zoo Negara has offered goodies like this. Just last December, Zoo Negara offered free entry to any Malaysian citizen visiting the zoo on their birthday or within 30 days after their birthday. So, if you want to pay a visit to the zoo, now is a good time as any to do just that.
