NEW Chinese Muslim Thai Restaurant That You Can Find the Famous “Shake Shake” Slushy Cola in KL!
If you’re a big fan of authentic Thai food, vibes and drinks, @sunthaifood2002 will be your new favourite spot! It’s normally crowded during lunch hour and we are not surprised! When you enter the restaurant, it will immediately transport you back to Thailand! With Thai posters, signboards and colourful walls, it was incredible!
Also, they serve Thailand’s famous “Shake Shake” slushy cola and this is the only find the only place in KL! Perfect for a hot day.
The food here is cooked by the Head Chef, which is Thai-Muslim and all of his recipes originated from his grandmother’s recipe. We enjoyed the authenticity of the food and how they never shy away from chillies!
Here’s the food we tried!
- Steam Siakap (Garlic Lemon), 9/10
The siakap fish here is fresh and meaty. The soup on the other hand did the siakap justice. It’s zesty, spicy and just flavourful all around.
- Kaeng Som, 8/10
This Thai-style Sour Curry Egg is pleasantly comforting. Its hot sour soup would make anyone’s day on a cold day!
- Pad Kra Pao( Chicken), 9/10
By looking at the number of chillies they put here, you know this will certainly entice spicy lovers like me! Its portion is a lot and the egg just oozes perfection (like how a Thai fried egg should be!). Recommended!
- Chicken Tom Kha, 9/10
Its unique soup taste is really thick and delicious. It’s filled with more than 10 ingredients with coconut milk as the main ingredient.
