You read that headline right! This space is ladies-only! A safe haven for women, the owner, Zara, strives for a space for Muslim women to dress and express themselves freely, embracing their femininity in a space unadulterated by men!
More than just a cafe, this space doubles, nay, triples, as a salon and a workout space at the same time!
Hijabis are more than welcome to take off their hijabs and tudung while they work out, and there’s a strict no-cameras rule as well! So you can freely do whatever your heart pleases without any worries and indulge in all the activities here!

Plenty! The fitness studio area accommodates a multitude of healthy activities, like pilates, kickboxing, dance workshops, and even yoga! The instructors come from all walks of life, and represent their home countries with beaming smiles and welcoming energy every session!
There’s even a salon where you can get your hair and nails done, proper princess treatment if you will. Gel manis and pedis, here we come! And they even have waxing services!
And don’t forget the coffee bar and cafe, where they serve Palestinian meals and delightful desserts!

Catch up with your girlies over a plate of the signature Big Mama Marookha Breakfast, a filling plate of everything you want in a breakfast or brunch meal! The Palestinian touch? The manaquish! Topped with cheese and zatar, a spice from the Middle East, it’s a really homey dish that just brings people together!
Or give the Sticky Date Slice a shot, made with Medjoul dates from Palestine! They also serve freshly brewed coffee from the coffee bar, as well as kombucha!
Marookha also caters for big groups! Whether you’re dining in or having a takeaway, they’ll prep your food fresh in the morning so it’s all ready to be devoured by brunch!
