In 1878, a man with just two lonely bronze cauldrons and a dream started experimenting with chocolate. Venchi, the gourmet Italian chocolate manufacturer, was born out of Silviano Venchi’s small shop. Almost a century and a half later, Venchi spans over 180 chocolate and gelato stores across 70 countries. And the good news is yet to come.
Italy’s Venchi opens its first store in Malaysia! Or more specifically, in the heart of our beloved city, Kuala Lumpur. The shop is set to open in November of this year in Pavilion KL. Gone are the days when a hankering for chocolate is only met with disappointment.

Quality chocolate
For connoisseurs of chocolate and gelato, this is massive news. Venchi prides itself on the quality and authenticity of its chocolate, making its mark on the cocoa world with gourmet treats like its signature and very own Nougatines, chopped and caramelised hazelnuts coated in extra-dark chocolate, invented by Silviano Venchi in 1905.
Other cacao-based delights that Venchi offers include the iconic Chocoviar, a special range dedicated to 75% Cuor di Cacao pearls. Chocolate caviar. What an innovative treat!

Creamy gelato
In 2007, Venchi posed their next big challenge. To showcase the wonder and beauty of chocolate and its whole menagerie of forms. This included pralines, individual chocolates, spreads, hot chocolate, and last but not least, gelato.
With their own chocolate infused into the gelato, and made fresh daily, Venchi’s gelato is known for its thick, satisfying texture. Their bestselling flavour, amongst the expansive list of 90, is the Gianduja. Made with Piedmont hazelnut paste, a long-established recipe from Northern Italy, and pure chocolate, the depth of flavour is unlike any other gelato you’ve ever tasted!

Bringing with them to Malaysia, after flagships popped up in key cities like London, Hong Kong, Dubai, and New York, are 250 chocolate recipes and 90 flavours of gelato. Their signature tagline? ‘-To look on the bright side and to live a long happy life that, if nothing else, is a little bit sweeter.’
More information is to come soon, so stay tuned!
