Every detail celebrates women, with carefully curated chic décor, signature cocktails and
the exclusive Girls-Only Club Night, held once a month every Wednesday.

NIGHTLIFE in KL has no shortage of spots to dress up, gather with friends, sip on something fancy and dance the night away but not all of them make women feel like they truly belong. That is where Ms Bianca in Damansara Heights changes the game. Founded by the ever-determined Wynette Loo, this chic, independent cocktail bar is beautifully done with stylish interiors, curated drinks and a women-first philosophy that makes every night out feel like you are stepping into your own VIP scene. In just a year, Loo has grown her vision beyond one venue, opening Ms Cassie in Hartamas.
Creating a space where women come first
“Ms Bianca was born from a desire to challenge the norm. I’ve always loved exploring bars and nightlife, but I noticed how male-dominated the industry is, from ownership to the way spaces are designed. Women often feel like an afterthought, and I wanted to change that,” Loo shares.
At Ms Bianca, women lead the way, not just in management but in every aspect like the music selection to the design of the space and, most importantly, the guest experience. One of the venue’s most unique initiatives is the Girls Only Club Night, held once a month on Wednesdays. “It’s a judgment-free, safe environment for women to let loose on their own terms. It’s been a huge success, with up to 60 attendees per night,” Loo explains.

Breaking barriers in a boys’ club industry
The nightlife industry often lacks female leadership, and Wyne has had to steer her fair share of challenges. “Being young and new to the industry, I wasn’t always taken seriously. There’s a common misconception that women in nightlife are limited to supporting roles or just part of the ambiance, rather than being leaders,” she admits.
Instead of waiting for validation, she built her own platform. “I had to stay firm in my vision, build credibility through action, and let the results speak for themselves. Ms Bianca is a sustainable, growing brand.”
Women-led team making a difference
A bar to add in our weekend plan list definitely has to have great drinks but good atmosphere and experience is what determines whether we would want to go back or no. Having a women-led team has shaped Ms Bianca in different ways. “A women-led team brings a different energy. Bringing each and every attention to detail and creating experiences, not just serving drinks.
Our curated cocktails are nuanced and often tell a story. Every drink is thoughtfully made, balancing all the variety of flavours with subtlety, just as we balance fun with refinement,” Loo explains. Ms Bianca’s Thursday Ladies’ Night also features a female DJ who understands exactly what the crowd loves.

Ensuring women feel safe and empowered
For Loo, empowerment in nightlife is about choice and comfort. “Women should be able to have fun without feeling on guard,” she says.
Ms Bianca takes this seriously, ensuring that groups of women can request a private VIP section if they prefer. “Our bar manager, Janet, is always on the floor, making sure guests feel safe and taken care of.”
Amplifying women’s voices through collaboration
Ms Bianca has partnered with major brands like Universal Music and Pernod Ricard Malaysia, pushing boundaries and creating a space for women in nightlife. “These collaborations aren’t just about throwing bigger parties. They help create a platform for women to define the culture. We actively feature female DJs, mixologists and creatives, ensuring they have the space to showcase their talent,” Loo says.

Advice for women in male-dominated industries
Loo’s advice to women looking to break into leadership roles is simple: own your space. “The hardest part is doubting yourself, so don’t. Be confident in your vision, build a strong team and don’t let industry norms hold you back,” she says.
She also emphasises the importance of networking. “Surround yourself with people who uplift your work like mentors, peers, collaborators. You’ll need support and partnerships to grow and thrive.”
Message to women
Loo leaves women with one final thought: take the opportunity.
“If you see a business opportunity, take it. As Richard Branson once said, ‘If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you’re not sure you can do it, say yes, then learn how to do it later.’”
And for those simply looking for a space to belong, connect and unwind, Ms Bianca is waiting. “It’s a place to meet new girlfriends, share good conversations, and be part of a fun, welcoming, and supportive community.”
Let’s raise a glass to the women redefining industries, one cocktail at a time.
