These diva cats in a cat cafe at SS2 are sure to steal your heart, and of course, your treats, as it’s been said that they certainly won’t layan you without some bribery.
This unexpected cat cafe tucked in the corners of Taman Paramount is ideal for a casual work session or just a day trip for some purr-fect healing. And it has some of the happiest yet sassiest cats we’ve come across in any cat cafe.
With a clean and minimalistic plant-inspired decor, purrs filling the air, and no ‘bad smell’ commonly associated with cat cafes, this is definitely a cat cafe in SS2 worth putting in the books for your next cat cafe-hopping trip.
Divas at heart

Of course, genuine cat lovers who goes to a cat cafe has one main concern in mind, and that is the safety and well-being of the kitties. Rest assured that each and every one of the felines (all 8 of them!) are well kept and purr-fectly happy.
They’re exceptionally well-behaved as well, not once will they attempt to steal food off your plate. More often than not, they’d expect you to come to them rather than pandering for your affection, they’re cats after all.
In fact, these divas won’t even come to you unless you brandish a treat in front of them, which costs RM5 for one. Try not to go overboard though, leave some affection for the other customers!
One of the cats you’ll see include Michael, who has his own adorable Instagram account.
There’s also Jingo, who has an icy piercing glare that’s just so enchanting.
Vibes perfect for healing

With a slightly hidden entrance, tucked in the upper floor of shop lots, Spring Spring Cafe awaits you.
Green and white—such calming colours. The walls and floor are covered in it, with gentle circular white lights engulfing the cafe in a light glow. Windows scattered throughout the space also lend for some gorgeous natural sunlight.
And of course, plenty of cat trees and spots for the kitties to lounge around and loaf.
Food for the soul

Spring Spring Cafe features a menu of mostly rice bowls (aka dons) that range between RM21 to RM25. Although limited, they are all in their own right delicious and filling. Big eaters beware, as the portions are not necessarily massive, and may not be very filling.
They are also renowned for their coolers, such as the Angel Walk (RM15), a refreshing yuzu-flavoured mocktail perfect for cooling off. They use Niko Neko matcha for their tea drinks, resulting in a consistently good Iced Matcha Latte (RM16).

Try their assorted cakes (RM14) too! Our personal favourite is the lusciously creamy and decadent Matcha Double Fromage that leaves a bittersweet aroma on the tongue.
Fun facts before you go

The cats roam free in this cat cafe in SS2, and there are no separate areas for the kitties and dining areas. Not to mention, there are cute succulents and houseplants for sale as well!
One rule of Spring Spring Cafe is that there is a minimum of one menu item purchase per person, which, to us, seems pretty reasonable considering how clean and well-maintained the cafe is.
Spring Spring is also affectionately named after one of the co-founder’s favourite albums, by Taiwanese band Wendy Wander.
