At first glance, it looks like a semi-deserted mall, but don’t let that deceive you. I understand what you might be thinking: “There’s a restaurant in this mall?’ or ‘Are we being tricked?”
Don’t worry, you’re safe!
We stumbled upon Zaman Ku, a Chinese-Muslim restaurant situated at the Galaxy Ampang Shopping Centre, offering a variety of seafood dishes cooked in Chinese style at very affordable prices.

The star of the show: 3 L-sized crabs for only RM48!
This is the main reason why this place is so famous! Their large-sized crab has become the talk of the town.
In this current economy, it is almost impossible to find a place that can offer you such a price. But hey, Zaman Ku is here to fulfil your cravings without robbing your wallet! (wink)

This restaurant also has private rooms for 20 pax and 40 pax, making it suitable for family gatherings, school reunions, or any events. They offer special packages for events as well, featuring a wider food selection and basic buffet line themes.
Don’t miss out on their amazing karaoke room, where you can belt out your favourite tunes while enjoying your meal. Who doesn’t love karaoke, right?

Is this place halal?
Zaman Ku serves Chinese cuisine that has no pork and no lard. Some of the other customers’ top favourite picks are the salted egg-fried squid and butter prawns. The squid is fried to perfection, with a thin coating and crunchiness that leaves people wanting more.
And those butter prawns? They’re not just big but also come with a generous amount of sauce. It’s no wonder these dishes are flying out of the kitchen fast!

If you want to taste good Chinese seafood that has no pork and no lard, you should definitely come here. Although this place is located in an old mall that not many people visit anymore, but isn’t that a good thing? That means more parking spots would be available.
This place is always packed, but don’t worry because the service is fast and the staff are very friendly too. If you are coming for their RM48 promo crab, we recommend you make a reservation beforehand because, you know, the good stuff goes fast.
You can check out their website to book a reservation.
