The high ceilings, wooden floors, carved pillars, beautiful chandeliers, and overall plush furnishing, clearly indicate the amount of care and effort that went into the interior design and ambiance. The 20-foot-high bar is an impressive sight and worth checking out for those who enjoy having a couple of drinks at the bar.

Their gorgeous mezzanine has private rooms and intimate nooks that you can reserve if you prefer to have some privacy when you dine.

However, it is not the interior design that transports guests to the streets of NYC. It is their culinary offerings – all of which have a little touch of fire to them! Asador V practises a farm to table concept, so you are guaranteed to get flavorful dishes made with the freshest ingredients.

Chef Daric Liu, who has 18 years of experience in the kitchen, perfected his craft after spending time in Australia, Germany, and Switzerland. He leads the kitchen team and oversees all culinary operations! The restaurant has an open kitchen floor plan where guests can not only see the food being prepared on wild open flames and hot grills, but can also observe the chefs as they do what they do best.

Asador V offers a 3-course set lunch menu at a reasonable price of RM118. Guests can pick 1 starter, 1 main course, and 1 dessert. Each set lunch includes a complimentary cup of Americano or tea.

Here’s an example of what your meal could look like if you decide to have their set lunch. You can start with their YellowTail Tataki, with ratatouille, burnt lime, and miso truffle yuzu. Then, you can opt to have the Chicken Galantine; a sous vide chicken leg with chicken truffle pistachio mousseline, wild much risotto, fried leek and chicken jus. Finish your meal with their Flexi Chocolate, chocolate tuile, chocolate crumble, chocolate whipped ganache, a microsponge, and raspberry. Doesn’t this meal sound incredible?

Their dinner menu is far more extensive with grill options for both dry aged and wet aged steak, allowing you to get the full experience of New York steak in the heart of KL. They also have grilled options for lamb and poultry, and seafood, both charred and grilled. Once you have selected your meat and preferred method of cooking, you can choose any of their 9 sides, from charred sweet corn, to broccolini with garlic anchovy butter. They’ve got starters, salads, soups, and decadent desserts, to tie your meal together.

A recommended starter is the Bone Marrow. This is a baked Rubia Gallega bone marrow, served with Avruga caviar, fresh truffle, and toasted ciabatta. You can also choose to add on three pieces of charred oysters to elevate this dish. Baked bone marrow and oysters? A delightful combination! With all the hype surrounding pistachio lately, Asador V has included a pistachio centric dessert, the Pistachio Citrus; plated with pistachio sable, bergamot ganache, orange segments, pistachio sauce, lemon glass, and vanilla whipped ganache. If you prefer a less experimental dessert option, you can always try their Praline Caramel; praline mousse, nutty caramel, almond dacquoise, sea salt caramel, and coffee ice cream. A yummy classic. 

Shaken, Stirred, Savoured! 

Finally, their V bar is not just there for decoration. They actually have an impressive drink menu ranging from wines, to ports, to whiskeys from different continents! For non-drinkers they have specialty coffees and chocolates, mocktails, milkshakes, and fresh juices. Drinks all around! The average rate that one would spend here is RM200+
