In celebration of Malaysia Day, llaollao is unveiling something truly special to ignite your patriotic spirit! Instead of their usual classic plain yogurt, they’re introducing a limited edition flavour: llaollao Bandung!
This exclusive flavour, in partnership with Pokka milk, combines the iconic Bandung taste with llaollao’s creamy frozen yogurt.
Let us share why Bandung is the perfect flavour to commemorate this special day.
The Origins of Sirap Bandung
Despite its name, which often leads to misconceptions about its origin, Sirap Bandung didn’t originate in Indonesia. Instead, this delightful drink has its roots in Johor. Johoreans were inspired to create their own version of the famous ‘Teh Tarik’.

Many Johoreans cultivated rose trees at home and made a living by selling roses. This inspired them to craft a unique beverage by blending rose and sweet condensed milk, giving birth to the beloved Sirap Bandung we all know today!
Now, Sirap Bandung has become a beloved drink among Malaysians, especially Malays. It is considered a must-have during Ramadan and at wedding ceremonies.
Llao llao Limited Edition Bandung Flavor Yogurt
On September 16th, you can treat yourself to the rich flavours of rose syrup combined with llaollao’s signature frozen yogurt, satisfying your sweet cravings. The taste is a delightful blend of sweetness and llaollao’s signature tangy yogurt flavour, offering a unique and balanced sensation to your taste buds.
With llaollao’s variety of tub sizes, you can choose the one that suits your craving. You can top it off with your favorite llaollao sauces, such as the beloved Ovomaltine or Lotus Biscoff Cookie. If that’s not your thing, you can opt for fruits like strawberry and dragon fruit to compliment the frozen yogurt!
