Tucked away in the calm residential enclave of Bangsar, Kebun-Kebun Bangsar blossoms as an urban community farm and garden. Established in 2017, it was the brainchild of landscape architect Ng Sek San, renowned for his minimalist yet verdant Sekeping eco retreats scattered across Malaysia.

A mere five-minute drive away from Bangsar Village II, the farm is easily accessible. Experience a delightful change of scenery as you step into this green sanctuary. Explore a Diverse Array of Vegetables & Flowers!

Beyond its function as a green space, Kebun-Kebun Bangsar plays a crucial role in providing sustainable food for the underserved community. Within this non-commercial farm, various organic vegetables and herbs are grown, harvested, and then distributed to welfare homes and soup kitchens.

Furthermore, you’ll find a rich assortment of seasonal and perennial flowers here, ranging from petunias and cosmos to sunflowers, hibiscus, and purple wreaths. Besides that, you’ll find handwritten markers labeling most plants, making it simple for you and your children to identify them. Alternatively, you can engage with the friendly volunteers, who are more than happy to share their knowledge with you.

Similar to a real farm, Kebun-Kebun Bangsar also houses an assortment of farm animals. You may come across rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, chickens, cows, sheep, and even a majestic peacock. These gentle animals are free to roam throughout the area.
