@torinana.my is a hidden halal ramen spot in an old apartment in PJ, more precisely Lucky Mansion! This cafe cum restaurant exudes a distinct Japanese vibe, adorned with murals portraying Japanese scenery. Moreover, the hand-painted mural, inspired by Spirited Away, entices anime lovers.

They make the thick broth by boiling chicken bones down with vegetables, giving the soup its cloudy appearance! Additionally, they boil chicken feet for a broth rich in collagen! Who says ramen can’t be halal and delicious too? The springy noodles are complemented by a balanced saltiness and sweetness.

There are a variety of ramen to choose from
- Shoyu Ramen
- Kimchi Ramen
- Hiyashi Ramen
- Japanese Curry Ramen
Besides that, Torinana’s ramen is also available in Original, Spicy or Lala preparations. There are other dishes like rice sets, chahan (Japanese fried rice), Agedashi tofu and other Japanese dishes!
For the original flavour of ramen, try the Original Tori Paitan. The firm noodles are served with chicken chashu, corn, bamboo shoots and an onsen egg. It’s so comforting, it feels as if you’ve just been hugged by a Japanese mother!

If you’re a coffee lover, they also double up as a cafe serving cappuccinos and cortados. Now this is what we love!
Have Yuzu tea or Matcha Latte with your food for the complete Japanese experience! If you’re in the area, visit Torinana for a fulfilling Japanese meal!
