What’s in the Chocolate Museum?

The Chocolate Museum located in Kota Damansara, which is the first chocolate museum in Malaysia and Asia, displays a variety of interesting information about chocolate, namely how chocolate is made around the world, the secret of chocolate’s greatness and benefits.

What’s interesting about this museum which was officially opened in 2014, visitors who have never held coffee or cocoa beans, you can do so here. You’ll even be able to see for yourself what the king of African cocoa looked like in addition to being able to see a replica of the first chocolate mixing machine in the world that was created in 1879 by the international chocolate explorer, Swiss Chocolatier, Rodolphe Lindt.

The museum uses the ‘3E’ concept where visitors can get interactive knowledge (education), chocolate making (experience) and shopping (enjoy) makes this museum a unique attraction for visitors. 

They sell chocolate at a cheaper price than the market price outside and promise the quality of original chocolate at a price 30 to 40 percent cheaper than the normal price. More than 30 international chocolate brands were successfully brought in here. Among them are Ferrero, Hershey’s, Lindt, Mars, Daim, Cadbury and Nestle. Locally produced chocolate brands are marketed here as well such as Fidani, Farells, Millton and Danson.
