An eatery has opened its doors in SS2, bringing you the viral flavours of the famed Salak South Holiao Noodles. This PJ branch is now one of four outlets.

For those unfamiliar, holiao noodles is a Hakka specialty, known for its simple, savoury flavours. The slurp-worthy dish has easily earned a devoted following amongst locals.

As you approach the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by a simple exterior that exudes a subtle sense of charm. There’s something about the facade that just screams ‘noodle shop’, designed to invite you in.

As the design is refreshingly straightforward, the focus remains on what truly matters: the food. While the seating may be somewhat limited compared to some noodle eateries, the layout ensures that the environment feels spacious and clean. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal.

A month into operations and this noodle spot has already amassed a 4.6 star rating on Google, with over a 100 reviews. Pretty good in our books! Reviews praise the excellent service and noodle portion.

Of course, patrons are also very happy with the flavours they are being presented with. Some have even made bold statements like ‘This is the best Hakka noodles in PJ!’

The highlight of their menu is undoubtedly their Hakka noodles (RM8)—noodles served with pork lard and minced meat. Here, you have the flexibility to choose the type of noodles according to your preferences.

Whether you prefer the original, shahe fen, lai fun, or a more unique option like their spinach noodles, you’ll find the perfect match for your craving. The noodles are cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight.
