Tamago-EN, located in The Gardens Mall, is one restaurant that takes the versatility of eggs to a whole new level. They showcase an extensive array of egg-based creations that surpass what you’d typically encounter in other dining establishments. Whether you are looking for sweet or savory dishes, you’ll find that nearly every item on Tamago-EN’s menu places eggs at the forefront, making them the main star of almost every dish.
High Quality Eggs
In 2019, this restaurant opened its first branch in Singapore, subsequently expanding into Hong Kong and now KL, Malaysia. Tamago-EN takes pride in the quality of their eggs, claiming they can even be eaten raw, which, they say, plays a crucial role in achieving the fuwa fuwa (fluffy) texture of their egg dishes. It is thanks to their healthy hens being fed with nutrition-packed feed that is enhanced with Astaxanthin (a super antioxidant).
Egg-centric Ambiance
The restaurant features cute egg-themed decorations throughout, creating a warm, yellowish lighting atmosphere that complements the dishes they offer and the main theme of the establishment. One standout feature in the restaurant is a booth table designed to resemble the skeletal structure of a giant egg.

As the name suggests, “Tamago” refers to eggs in Japanese, and it’s no surprise that you’ll find an array of Japanese dishes on their menu. Options range from Omurice with your choice of either chicken, salmon, or steak. For a lighter option, you can opt for their Tamago Skewers, available with five different toppings: tomato, seaweed, salmon, mentai mayo, and kani mayo.
While Japanese dishes are the highlight, Tamago-EN offers a diverse range of culinary delights beyond Japanese cuisine. Their menu features pasta dishes, alongside other offerings like eggs benedict, shakshouka, and steak burgers.
A Fluffy Ending
To end your meal, we highly recommend trying one of their Souffle Pancakes, which come in a variety of flavors such as tiramisu, creme brulee, strawberry, and more. These pancakes will satisfy that “fuwa fuwa” goodness you’re craving for. Their texture is astonishingly fluffy and complements wonderfully with the cream, regardless of the flavor you choose.
