1. Chooi Yue Dim Sum

Located in Ipoh South Gardens, Chooi Yue Dim Sum is famous for its wide variety of high-quality, fresh and delicious food. It has a rating of 3.9 over 3000 reviews, with many praising the fresh ingredients used. On weekends, the restaurant is filled to the brim, so be prepared for long wait times.

If you are patient enough, you will eventually get to try the food here. This shop is famous for its chee cheong fun, springy and filled with juicy prawns. Also worth trying the char siew pao and siew mai, both delights for the pork lover in you. Worth mentioning are the har kow and steamed savoury ribs.

If you are looking for an authentic experience, look no further than Zui Le Xuan. This place is specialised in traditional dim sum made by hand. As a result, the dishes served here are almost always delicious. Among these, the molten salted egg yolk bun is considered to the top favourite.

Everything here is made in-house, ensuring the quality and freshness of the dim sum you eat. The dim sum are also presented well, with har kow having firm skin and siew mai being perfectly shaped. Love dumplings? Then the perfectly baked ones here are going to leave you in heaven. You don’t get 4.2 stars on Google Review for nothing!
