It is a non-halal wantons and dumplings spot that keeps its doors open till the wee hours of the morning.
This establishment thrives under the cover of nightfall, catering to those looking for a comforting bowl of steaming noodles or wantons, so late in the day. As you step into this nondescript eatery, you will be greeted by the familiar clatter of bowls, cutlery, and pans. The menu here is simple but satisfying. You will find a variety of wantons, dumplings, noodles, and even a couple of rice dishes.
Dumplings and wantons, comfort food for supper
Their handcrafted wanton selection is extensive with seven different fillings to choose from: original, chives, premium seaweed, mushroom and fungus, meat with fish rolls, premium crab stick with fish rolls, and fresh prawn with fish rolls. Their wantons come in 6 (RM9), 10 (RM15), and 15 pieces (RM22).
These are served in a savoury, flavourful broth, leaving you craving for more. Bite into those generously filled and piping hot wantons that have soaked up some of the broth and you will be blown away by the taste.
They also have a sauce counter where you can pick your usual favourite sauces. Go ahead and experiment, mixing a few sauces together for the ultimate flavour kick.

It’s all about the crisp
If you prefer fried wantons, don’t start panicking just yet—they have those too. Get their Mixed Fried Wantons at RM18 for 10 pieces or RM25 for 15 pieces.
Served with a greasy, spicy chili oil that has minced ginger and garlic mixed in. The sauce is almost better than the wantons. Almost.
At Dayi Wanton, they offer two dumpling options; chives and cabbages. These are steamed to perfection with a crispy bottom and a moist top, served with a soy-ginger dipping sauce. The dumpling dough has a glossy finish so you know it won’t be rubbery or dry.

You can’t have wantons without noodles…
If you’re looking to have a more filling meal, try one of their noodle or rice dishes. Their Scallion Minced Pork Noodles is only RM12 per bowl and comes with three fried wantons. The noodles are bouncy, light, and have a good bite to them. Topped with that juicy minced pork and scallion oil, mix everything together and you have a delicious bowl of noodles worth every ringgit.
They have other chicken noodle options if you prefer chicken to pork. As for rice, you can opt to try their spicy chicken, which comes with a bowl of steaming white rice and a bowl of soup. This is a filling and hearty meal, perfect for those who like some spice in their food.

To bring your late-night meal to a close, you can opt for some dessert. Their cendol is sweet with a strong gula melaka taste and has plenty of red bean and jelly.
