If you’re on the hunt for some truly authentic and absolutely delectable Malay-style Nasi Campur, your search is over! This bungalow restaurant in KL is hot and ready to serve!

What do they serve?
Banglo 289 cooks a wide variety of authentic and nostalgic dishes fresh to order, for everyone to enjoy. They only serve traditional Malay food, to the complaint of nobody of course. Some of their dishes include Lempeng Pisang, Lempeng Nyior, Roti Canai, Daging Salai, Fried Banana Fritters, and Siput Sedut. And though the style of serving is Nasi Campur, the food is all made fresh to order, meaning nothing sits out in waste. This bungalow restaurant is just so amazing!

Their Nasi Kerabu is definitely to die for, fluffy and fragrant whilst filling your mouth with flavours unlike any other. Another definite recommendation would be the Nasi Lemak Sotong with their tender squid that just melts in your mouth, a perfect accompaniment to the lemak rice.

They even serve local desserts here!
In terms of desserts, be sure to check out their mango sticky rice and Ais Kacang. Banglo 289 also serves deliciously sinful Kueh Mueh, and their local artisans rise as early as 4 AM to ensure their traditional Kueh Mueh are made fresh daily! The Kueh are served buffet style, letting the indulgence flow from brightly coloured Kueh to the other. Kueh Talam Keladi, Kueh Tepung Gomak, Kueh Tepung Bungkus, they have it all! The perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal. Speaking of sweetness, be sure to try out their sweetly refreshing beverages such as their Apple Asam Boi! Crisp, zesty, and sweet all in one.
Offering a plethora of experience under one roof
You can also host events here, and the staff at Banglo 289 are more than happy to serve and aid you in your endeavours as you celebrate, dine, and enjoy the atmosphere and energy of friends and family. Grab them and celebrate Merdeka with flavours of authentic Malaysian cuisine!
The ambience is more than perfect for an OOTD, making this location definitely Instagram-able as the unique dining areas (either under lush trees or in a canteen-style seating area) are clean, modern, and furnished with wood and tons of greenery.

Convenience is of the essence as parking is allocated right in front of the restaurant! Though, be wary as it is rather pricey. A whopping RM10, thus, it is possible to park elsewhere (though troublesome) and walk to the restaurant.
