Have you ever heard of Nasi Lemak RM1 BangSudu? It gained popularity for being sold at just RM1, a real gem in today’s pricey food scene. Meet the mastermind behind it all: Muhammad Fazrie Haiqal, also known as BangSudu.
This young guy has been selling his Nasi Lemak by the roadside in Desa Coalfields, and now, after two years, he’s proudly opened his own nasi lemak restaurant in Sungai Buloh!
How BangSudu went viral on TikTok
Interesting story about BangSudu; he goes live on TikTok while selling his RM1 nasi lemak, and at the same time offering a glimpse into his journey and challenges. The funny part that has captured the attention of netizens is his “battles” with customers who insist on paying more for his nasi lemak!
BangSudu’s business is supported by many generous people. Some customers happily pay extra for their nasi lemak, while others simply give donations.
BangSudu puts all the extra cash he receives back into his business, often by giving out free nasi lemak to his customers. It became overwhelming because more and more people are donating. It’s heartwarming to see such kindness from Malaysians.

“Do you even make any money selling it so cheap?” – A curious netizen
BangSudu explained that his main goal in pricing his nasi lemak at RM1 is to ensure it’s affordable for everyone. He admitted that he doesn’t make much profit this way, but what brings him joy is that everyone can afford to taste his nasi lemak.
“These days, spending even RM10 for breakfast for one person is common, but not everyone can afford that,” Bangsudu noted.
He added that many of his customers are school kids, which is why he’s determined to keep the price low.
Even Khairul Aming says it’s good!

When Khairul Aming gives it his stamp of approval, you know it’s the real deal! Since BangSudu’s videos went viral, even Khairul Aming himself stopped by to taste his nasi lemak. On that day alone, 600 nasi lemak sold out within 30 minutes. Crazy!
The RM1 nasi lemak is prepared by BangSudu’s parents, with his helping hand in the kitchen. Plus, homemade goodness always hits the spot!
