- Benns Ethicoa
For you chocolate lovers, this is the time for you to come to Benns Ethicoa. It’s Asia’s first open-concept chocolate factory and café. This cafe offers desserts and drinks based on real chocolate. Currently, Benns Ethicoa’s cocoa beans are sourced from selected farms in Lampang in Thailand, Vung Tau in Vietnam, Calinan in the Philippines, Anaimalai in India, and Sungai Ruan in Pahang, Malaysia.
With their tagline “Towards a More Intimate Chocolate Experience”, Asia’s first chocolate factory and cafe intends to bring the chocolate experience closer to consumers. This establishment showcases the entire chocolate making process. Visitors can sign up for a factory tour to learn about the origins of chocolate, the farmers and farms where the cocoa beans come from and a unique experience of the entire chocolate making process from bean to bar. Each tour concludes with a chocolate drink and a selection of pastries, each made using cocoa sourced from different plantations in Asia.
The factory tour is held every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Adults and children aged 8 and above are charged RM25 per pax while kids 7 years and below are free of charge. The guided tour takes roughly 30 – 45 minutes. Your kids will definitely enjoy this unique attraction.

- Waka Waka
Waka Waka KL is an indoor playground. It’s very suitable for small children and pre-teens. The interior decoration of the park is themed with African safari elements. The activities offered here are specifically designed to help children develop and improve their cognitive skills. Among them is a cute play area with sand, a maze and a rope course. Ticket prices for kids start from RM15 and parents are encouraged to accompany kids below 7 years of age.

Make 99 Wonderland Park your family’s destination this weekend. This recreational park has its own attractions, with the main one being 99 Dinosaur Park, in addition to other parks. You can categorize 99 Wonderland Park as an animal-based recreation park. It is very different from other animal parks around the capital because 99 Wonderpark also has interesting decorations and rest spots. 99 Wonderpark also provides a cruise that you can ride with your family for wonderful memories.
Those who are interested in the movie Jurassic Park will be excited. At 3.5m high, 2 replicas of Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaurs are in the spotlight. At night, the lights around the park will surely revive the atmosphere of prehistoric times.
As mentioned, this park is a kind of animal park. Interestingly, most of the animals here are free to roam around the park while interacting with the visitors. You can get along with different kinds of animals such as deer, emus, flamingos, and many more.
99 Wild Island park has various animals from other countries. You will be able to see these animals in person. For example, the capybara from Australia, unique cats such as the Caracal cat and the Serval cat from the south of the Sahara desert, and the Sun Bear which is a small type of bear.
Apart from animals from foreign countries, 99 Wonderland Park also ensures that our local animals are given the same spot of fame. There is a special exhibit for our Malayan Tapir which is equipped with a jacuzzi for them. Ever fed a crocodile? Here you will be able to experience it for yourself. Food is lowered using a fishing rod to the crocodiles that are waiting under the bridge. A different experience than others, right?
99 Wonderland Park also has a Bird Park that houses various types of birds. The interesting thing here is that you and your family will be able to enjoy the experience of feeding the birds. They also have a program where you can adopt ducks or chickens. Not for eating, just as a pet!
Throughout 99 Wonderland Park, there are various exhibitions and special lighting decorations. In fact, there are also special locations prepared for romantic and happy moments such as the Birthday Pavilion, Proposal Dome, The Dream Glasshouse and Cinderella’s Carriage. There is also a Magical Bridge that’s decorated with heart-shaped which takes inspiration from Love Lock Bridges that exist all over the world. The water fountains here are also among the main attractions. This lighted water fountain show follows the rhythm of the music being played.
Take a boat cruise with your family. With a capacity of 26 passengers, this cruise will take you around the lake and you’ll have the opportunity to get close to the animals that make this lake their habitat. There is also a Paddle Boat or rowing boat that you can rent to enjoy the lake with your loved ones.
Don’t miss the opportunity to spend time playing with your family at the arcade here. There’s a merry-go-round for the little ones and carnival games that you can try to win prizes.
