Awanmulan consists of 7 houses namely Teratak Bonda, Kesidang, Sunrise, Sasterawan, Evensong, Durian Runtuh and Rahsiah. The Shorea is a cluster of 4 houses consisting of Villa Shorea, Villa Halia, Villa Bougainvillea and Villa Cambodia. The Shorea is built overlooking the 4000-acre Berembun Forest Reserve with an elevation of 3900 feet. The name Shorea is taken in conjunction with the genus name of 196 species of forest trees such as Balau, Cengal, Meranti and Keruing. The resort uses Shorea bergen logs and recycled timber as the main building material.
