For some homemade burger on wheels, head to Jackson’s burger that is located in PJ’s SS14  housing area. The old Chinese couple who run this burger food truck have been attracting a strong crowd for their classics. Bite into their oh-so-good beef burger with extra cheese. Well-seasoned and flavorful, the patty is so juicy, it’s almost like you’re biting into a beef steak instead! Garnishes are kept to a minimum to prevent the burger from being too overpowering. Cucumbers, chillies and onions enhance the patty instead of being distracting to the overall taste profile. Highly recommended!

Usually, many people frequent Burger Baek after work and also on weekdays for a fulfilling burger. Their crispy chicken burger is the highlight on the menu. Customers sing praises for its crispy chicken piece (yup, real chicken, no patty here, folks!) that is so crunchy you can hear the burger speak to you! Haha! Prices are also quite reasonable. The owner was inspired by the Zinger burger in KFC and wanted to create a crispy chicken burger that set him apart from his competitors. Fresh salad from Cameron Highlands, mayonnaise, Thousand Island sauce and chili sauce add flavors to the burger. Oh my god, so yum!

Subang Jaya residents are no strangers to this burger truck. Located in front of TK Bakery, the grilled burgers are the talk of the supper crowd here. The significantly thicker patties are grilled to perfection on a BBQ pit instead of the conventional hotplate, contributing to a smokier flavor and a juicier patty. For a sloppy burger that will leave your hands sticky with sauce and meat juices, try their Jumbo Grilled Chicken Burger with Egg. A slice of cheese, an egg and onions fill the burger which is then drenched in BBQ, chilli and cheesy sauce as well as a special mushroom sauce. This is one Ramly burger done right!
