1. Pickleball Factory

We’re starting off with Pickleball Factory, the fresh new kid on the block. Opened in late-September 2024, this place has both indoor and outdoor courts, giving you the freedom to pick your playing vibe and your budget as outdoor courts are the wallet-friendly choice. Whether you’re a morning bird or a night owl, they’ve got both non-peak and peak hours with prices that reflect your timing. 

New to the game and need gear? No worries! Paddle rentals are just RM4, while balls are priced from RM7 for one, to RM18 for a pack of three. For the pros, they’ve even got high-quality, professional balls at RM12 each. Ready to hit the courts?

2. KL City Pickleball @ Zebra Square KL

KL City Pickleball at Zebra Square KL is the ultimate destination for players looking to pick up a paddle at any time of day or night. It’s the only place on this list that’s open 24 hours every day of the week. 

If you’re playing between midnight and 5 PM, it’s just RM50 per hour, but once the evening hits from 5 PM to midnight, the rate jumps to RM80 per hour. The rates shift slightly on weekends and public holidays too. 

Every booking includes four paddles, and if you need extra gear, you can rent additional paddles for RM20 each. For the pickleball balls, it’s RM8 per ball or RM21 for a set of three. 

If you’re feeling the outdoor vibe, Zebra Square also has uncovered courts available and these are significantly cheaper with the same gear conditions and rates.

3. ESM Pickters Arena

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot to pickleball your heart out in KL, ESM Pickters Arena has got your back. With seven outdoor courts and six indoor courts, there’s plenty of space to play, whether you want to enjoy the sunshine or stay cool indoors. 

You can book courts for one, two, or three hours, making it super flexible for any schedule. If you’re flying solo or just looking to meet new people, ESM offers weekly activities where you can join in on the fun, even if your usual crew isn’t available.

During off-peak hours on weekdays, you can hit up the outdoor courts for just RM33 per hour or take the indoor courts for RM48 per hour. Want to save a little cash? Sign up for Pickle Point’s membership to snag discounted rates. They also have equipment rentals; paddles for RM4 each and balls for RM2 each, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own gear.  

If you’re looking to level up your skills, Pickle Point has five pro instructors ready to give you group or private lessons. Feeling social? Jump into their open play friendly games and compete against other players in different sessions and levels. It’s all about a little friendly competition and some great pickleball playing.

For all the pickleball lovers in PJ, Hyprground Pickleball is the place to be. They have seven courts here, some Private Lounge courts and some Community Courts. 

On weekdays, the community courts are just RM35-RM40 depending on what time you book the courts. On weekends, the price bumps up to RM50 per hour all day. Paddle rentals are a steal at RM5 each, no matter when you play, and you can grab balls for free (or splurge on pro balls for RM12 each if you want to play like a pro).

Pickle Social Club is where fitness meets friendship in the most fun way possible. True to its name, this place reimagines the social experience by offering smaller pickleball courts that make it easier to communicate, bond, and enjoy some epic games with friends, new and old. Located in Mont Kiara, PSC brings a bit of that atas vibe to your pickleball experience.

Looking to improve your game? You can take private lessons with their expert coaches, but be prepared for a bit of a splurge. They also offer group lessons and open play sessions, so there’s something for everyone. For those just starting out, introductory group lessons begin at RM65. If you’re ready to level up your pickleball and enjoy a little extra flair, PSC is the place for you.

Rain or shine, Pickle Jam Courts is always ready for a game. Forget about the heat, rain, or dodging stray balls from neighbouring courts. Their five semi-indoor, covered courts, with tennis-grade flooring and fencing, keep your play uninterrupted and cool. 

Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, you can drop in for Open Play sessions and meet new pickleball pals. Playing with a variety of opponents is the best way to level up your game. Pickle Jam offers three play levels; General, Intermediate, and Advanced. 

This pickleball spot offers plenty of space with wide courts and a breezy atmosphere, perfect for sweating it out with friends. Like most places, paddle rentals are RM5, and balls are available for RM10 each. Enjoy showers after your game and the free parking.

Last but not least, we have Pickle World, the fresh face on the pickleball scene, having just opened in October 2024. With spacious, clean courts decked out in a fun pink and purple theme, this place gives off all the new vibes. 

Whether you’re playing on one of the five regular courts or splurging on their exclusive VIP court, which has varying prices depending on when you book, you’re in for a great time. Paddle and ball rentals are available over the counter, and after your game, you can freshen up in their showers. They’re open until 1 AM daily, so no need to rush your game. And if you work up an appetite, there’s a cafe on the lot to satisfy your cravings.
