Tuftme

If you’ve seen tufted rugs all over Instagram and wondered how they’re made, Tuftme is where you can try it for yourself. This cosy studio in SS2 lets you create your own colourful rug from scratch. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried it before,  the instructors guide you step by step, and the whole process is surprisingly therapeutic. Plus, you’ll get to bring home a unique rug that you made with your friends.

Pakanira

Pakanira is a fun spot if you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at resin art. Coasters or trays, you’ll get to prepare, pour, swirl, and design your own resin pieces with different colours and textures. No two designs are ever the same, so you and your bestie will leave with personalised pieces that can double as home décor. It’s messy but a great way to spend an afternoon.

Terrarium Garden Malaysia (TGM)

For something a little greener, head over to Terrarium Garden Malaysia in Bukit Bintang. This workshop lets you build your own miniature ecosystem in a glass jar. You’ll get to pick plants, arrange them with stones and soil and learn how to keep them thriving at home. It’s relaxing, a little earthy and you’ll leave with a mini garden to brighten up your desk or living space.

Bakebe MY @ Publika

If you and your bestie love desserts, Bakebe is the workshop for you. Instead of a traditional baking class, Bakebe lets you pick recipes from their app and follow the step-by-step guide at your own pace. Flower arranging might sound intimidating, but Hobby Florist makes it approachable and fun. Their workshops teach you how to design beautiful bouquets or arrangements using seasonal blooms.
